At the age of 19, she moved to the UK and studied textile design at an art university in the UK. After working as an assistant to Donna Wilson, Lizzie Finn, and others, she went independent. After returning to Japan in 2011, she began working as an embroidery artist, focusing on solo exhibitions. Using the classical technique of embroidery, she expresses a world that exists between reality and fantasy. She has also expanded the scope of her activities by collaborating with apparel brands, creating artwork using embroidery for NHK Educational TV, and holding embroidery workshops. In February 2020, her second book, "ABC with Embroidery," was published by Bunka Publishing.
